Civil Initiative “Family 2050”
The civil initiative “Family 2050” is dedicated to fostering cooperation among Lithuanian citizens, church communities, representatives of NGOs, specialists, scientists, and politicians at all levels in addressing Lithuania’s demographic challenges and family policy issues. Our shared goal is: That Lithuania may live!
We invite people to unite, seek the best solutions, and work together in thematic groups in order to pursue a common goal: to submit concrete initiatives at the national or municipal level and to act consistently toward the implementation of these proposals. Other activities include outreach and the organization of various events.
We are guided by the principles set out in the Šiluva Declaration. We are oriented toward a Christian view of the natural family, procreation, sexuality, and the complementarity of woman and man.
The patron of the initiative is the Metropolitan Archbishop of Kaunas, Kęstutis Kėvalas.
We invite other organizations and individuals to join as equal partners—everyone who cares about the well-being of our families and about ensuring that Lithuania does not disappear.

Visuomeninė iniciatyva „Šeima 2050“ skirta bendradarbiavimui tarp Lietuvos piliečių, bažnytinių bendruomenių, NVO atstovų, specialistų, mokslininkų ir politikų visais lygiais, sprendžiant Lietuvos demografinius iššūkius ir šeimos politikos problemas. Mūsų visų bendras siekis – Kad Lietuva gyventų!
Kviečiame telktis, ieškoti geriausių sprendimų ir kartu dirbti teminėse grupėse, siekiant bendro tikslo, nacionaliniu ar savivaldos lygiu pateikti konkrečias iniciatyvas bei kartu kryptingai veikti dėl šių pasiūlymų realizavimo. Kitos veiklos – sklaida ir įvairių renginių organizavimas.
Remiamės Šiluvos deklaracijos suformuotomis nuostatomis. Orientuojamės į krikščionišką požiūrį į prigimtinę šeimą, prokreaciją, lytiškumą, moters ir vyro papildomumą.
